I have a LakeMaster LOW/Rainy River SD card for my Lowrance XOG. I’ve recently purchased a bigger boat and and updated my electronics to a Lowrance Elite 5. The Elite 5 only takes micro SD cards. Is there any way to get this info from the SD card to a micro SD card? I’m headed up to Rainy River Sunday for the week and just realized the incompatibility issue. I can still use my XOG but was trying to avoid it if at all possible. The battery life isn’t very long on the XOG and I don’t fill like wiring a 12 volt outlet in the boat in the next couple of days. Thanks in advance for the help!

Most map chips are write protected so you can’t copy them! I believe that you can wreck the chip if you try to copy it

Steve I think you are out of luck. Never (at least up to this day) never copy your card and try to load it to a smaller chip. You may end up with nothing on the card.

I was hoping your issue was turned around 180 degrees, then I could help you a whole bunch.

Good Luck! Both with the card and the trip! Wish some year I will make the iceout trip. I’ve been doing the ice comming type of trip for the last years.

Thanks for the reply Stan, I was afraid of this. I guess my XOG is better than nothing but that small screen is getting harder and harder to see!

I don’t recall if Bass Pro had the rainy / Low chip or not for Lowrance when I was out there yesterday. Give them a holler.

Thanks Denny for the reply. I’ve made the trip to LOW in the Fall but never in the Spring. It’s harder to time the bite with all the variables this time of year and it always seems I have a big job booked at the peak times. We hope to smack ’em next week!

We were trying to stay further up river by Royal Dutchman or Clementson’s but the RD was booked and Clementson’s are remodeling now and not open. We’re staying at Schuster’s for this trip.
