Boat Wiring Project – Keeping Water Out?

I am looking at rewiring my 2005 Lund Pro Angler tiller. I can’t fit any of the larger locators into the electronics console, so I have to mount the unit outside. My dilemma is that I want to make sure I can keep water out of the console when there is rain and spray. That means I need some sort of cable grommet or pass-through. Any ideas for what I can use to pass through all the cables needed for a Lowrance unit without allowing that to also collect water? I have seen some plastic outlets on Rangers and Lunds – but I have no idea where to look or what to search the interwebs for.

I would put the hole on the vertical gunnel part and run the wires in, and not on the flat or deck part that will help keep water out. You might look at redoing the console and making it bigger. I seen a lund info video on TV last night and they had a flip out box that was kinda cool.
