HDS7 Tranducer

    My dad and I split a HDS7, I get it here for the summer and he gets it in Florida for the winter. Can you recommend a transducer for him? We also need a mounting system and a power cord. Hope to get this soon.

    The standard transom mount Lowrance Skimmer will work fine for him if he wants an external transducer. The HDS can digitally process the frequency to 50 kHz for deep water (like salt water) if needed. If he has a glass hull, he could glass in a puck style transducer if he has access to the bottom of the boat.
