Sonar/Downview Structure Scan split screen is my first choice.

This is the best of both sonars. The broadband sonar shows suspended fish best and the Structure Scan shows the bottom structure like brush so clear you can count the branches. When you look at the Broadband sonar side the brush looks like a glob of yellow and orange “something” on the bottom, look over to the LSS-1 side and there is no question what that blob is.

Then a variety of sonar/chart/structure scan screens. Although one is set for “Files” to edit stuff quickly. This is at the bottom of the Waypoints, Routes and Trails page.

    Dave,

    Take a look at these.

Scroll to image #10 on the right. I think this is similar

    to what Ken is describing.

I can’t figure out how to attach my pictures/screenshots to a post on this site. I guess I need a link to browse my pictures and click on attach, sorry.

I think this is the page Ken likes. Notice the fish in the bait.
    Ken,
I had to convert the .png Lowrance screenshot to a .jpg to get it to upload.

Thanks Doc. You’re right, this is the screen I fish with the most. Especially when I’m in brush and trees. The Downview shows every branch of a tree and the Broadband sonar side shows suspended fish better.

In your screenshot notice how the Structure Scan shows the bait right along the bottom with more separation than the Broadband sonar where the bait looks like they could be part of the bottom?

Broadband Sonar and Structure Scan sonar each have it’s benefit and with this screen setup you can take advantage of the strength’s of each.

Then when you need to look to the side just hit the pages button and select a left and/or right view from one of the preset button’s.
