Headn to Colorado bowhunting elk in a few days and need to know the easy way to enter GPS cooridinates to my H2OC. I have downloaded the hunting map onto the SD card and googled my hunting area and want to enter the good areas to check out. Anyone help out? Thanx, R.D.

The above post is the correct way, you can also create a specific symbol for those waypoints as well. Such as base camp.

So you know, when you get to the edit position page you need to use the down arrow to Lat 1st, hit the ENT/SAVE button and enter lat, then arrow down to long, hit ENT/SAVE button and do the same.
    Pretty easy

Calvin’s got a good point. You have alot of options for icons for the gps locations you create. Might help simplify what location/gps icon your wanting to get to, as mentioned, base camp.
    Great point

…I would also recommend eyeballing the crosshair position somewhere close to where you are headed before creating the waypoint. That will help get the coordinates/waypoint in the ball park – thus only having to change a few of the numbers instead of every single one. Saves some time anyway

Acquire satellite, scroll close to your destination and then create a waypoint. Once you have a waypoint, go in and adjust and we you will be set. It does save time.
