HDS7 4.0 update

    I have 3 HDS7’s on my boat.The first unit it worked great, the second and third it went through the download but my screens are messed up. On the menu page it shows lines no text, when you shut it off it says poweng of instead of powering off. Help I have to take out people fishing and my electonics aren’t working.

    I would call Lowrance (800) 324-1356, Press #3, Press #, Press #1.

    They will probably suggest you try a soft reset or retry downloading the update.

    I was going to do a soft reset but I don’t have any words on any of the menu’s to get to the reset. I have downloaded the 4.0 at least 5 times from 3 different computers. The first one worked fine. Is there a reset I can do without the menu screen?

    With unit off press and hold the Pages key then press and

    release the Power key. Release the Pages key when the USA map appears.
