Bad button on new HDS-5x

    Hi!
    I just received a new HDS-5x and and discovered that the “menu button” is slow responding. All the other buttons work with a light touch, you now when you hear the “click-sound”. But when I press the “menu button” i have to press hard to get it to work, with a ordinary touch when the click-sound appears nothing happens. really annoying, thats the most used button. Is there a way to easily fix this myself or do I have to send it back?

    The arrow keypad is quite slow as well but not to bad.

    I would make Lorance awear of the problem and return it in the fall, it has taken a month to have the units returned from Lorance,

    I would return it to the retailer for an exchange.

    I can return it but I can’t be without a fishfinder right now. And if I’m gonna get a new one and send this back I have to pay for the new one first and then get money back when I return this one, the problem is that I live in Sweden and have already payed tax ones and have to solve that problem. I’m awaiting a reply from the retailer about that. One way to do it is to send it in after the summer when I don’t need it for a while.

    you could just buy one from a retailer around you and then return the defective one the next day and get a full refeund for all the taxes. be a quicker fix. fun stuff when things don’t work right out of the box.

    A new unit is on its way and I’ll send this back when the new one arrives.
