Lowrance 111c Question

    I am having a problem with my 111c not acquiring gps reception when I turn it on. It will sometimes take up to 15 minutes and then it works fine. I have updated software, tried a different puck and still nothing changes. I have hooked up my 332C and it works fine.
    Looking for any feedback.

    I would suggest a soft reset to clear things up, similar to a computer restarting.
    power unit off, then hold down the pwr button along with pages and menu button (the 2 buttons below zout and zin) hold these until the US base map shows up….

    DO NOT HOLD DOWN THE ZOUT AND ZIN….THAT IS A HARD RESTART AND YOU WILL LOSE ALL WAYPOINTS…

    It’s a good idea to backup your waypoints before you do the reset anyway….. but you should be ok.

    Coincidentally I was having the same problem this weekend with a 520c. The soft re-boot fixed it. Thanks Cal!
