problem with lowrance

I went to Mille tonight turned on my X18 (2004 I think) and it made the beep which was odd because I run with the sound off. All my over lay data is off the screen so its like it went back to factory defults. I hit the menu button and the menu comes up but when I hit menu again it goes back like I hit exit. I cannot get to the second list on the menu to come up. Has anybody have any ideas?

BTW fishing was good, 2 hours 2@ 27″, 25″,24″, 21″, 20″, 16″. All caught in 10′ water in the rocks under a cork.

My cousin just had this problem on his 332c. What I did was a hard reset and everything works just fine. You will lose all of your waypoints so hopefully you got them backed up. You could try a soft reset first which wont lose your waypoints.

Soft Reset- press and hold PAGES->press and hold PWR-> release when usa map appears release all buttons.

Hard Reset- press and hold ZIN&ZOUT at the same time->press and hold PWR-> when usa map appears release all buttons.
