Someone told me a while back that I could upgrade my 37C to a HD for a little extra cash. I never looked into it in the past, but now that I just updated the new download from Lowrance for my unit (thanks to all here who helped me in getting that done), it jogged my memory about the upgrade.
Is it possible? If so, what do I need to do?

Could the broadband sounder module be what you’re trying to remember? My brother ran one prior to the HDS units and it definitely increased definition.
Well, I thought that’s what my fishing buddy (has same unit as mine) told me last year, but maybe I’m mistaken in that regard. Thought I’d ask while I was thinking about it.
Lowrance will occasionally send a new unit at a nominal upgrade charge when an older unit that cannot be repaired is sent in to be fixed. The cost for this varies by unit. I have only seen this when an older unit is sent in to them though.
