    Haven’t found anything in the manual regarding the RCA connector at the bottom of the docking station.

    Anybody know what you would connect to this?

    Thanks!

    Your right nothing in the manual or online. Its probably safe to say its an extra output or input. Maybe its for something that will come out in the future.

    I am pretty sure that is for a subwoofer connection, something that us fisherman might not exactly use but someone might.

    From Lowrance…
    Stereo AUX line input for audio devices;
    Stereo AUX line input for SIRIUSĀ® satellite radio;
    Stereo Line Output from zone 3;
    Mono Line Output for Subwoofer;
    Mono Line Input for intercom, alarm emergency override.

    I’m asking about the docking station not the SonicHub.

    Thanks though!

    How do you like the sonic hub? I thought about getting it but since my deck already has an ipod cable and I wouldnt use the speakers I decided not to. The thing that had me interested was being able to run the ipod from the graph.

    So far I’m very impressed with the unit. I probably wouldn’t have installed it if I already had a stereo on board.

    I really like the ease of use and can control the I-pod
    better through the HDS then I can on its own.

    Here is the answer to the RCA connector on the bottom of the
    docking station.

    Thank you for contacting us. The RCA port on the back of the SonicHub docking station is used to handle video output from different devices. Currently only the Simrad brand of products can support video into the unit. This connection will not apply to the HDS units by Lowrance. The SonicHub is compatible with both Lowrance and Simrad units by Navico. Please feel free to contact us if we may be of further assistance. Regards,Navico Customer Service.
