I recently upgraded from a 2014 Lowrance HDS 7 to a 2018 Lowrance HDS 7 Carbon. I took the mapping micro SD chip out of the old one and put it in my new one. Should all my saved waypoints transfer automatically into the Carbon? Or do I have to save all my waypoints from the old Lowrance onto the card, put it in my new one, and then manually upload them? Thanks in advance.
You will have to save your waypoints to a separate sd card and then download them onto your carbon unit. I could list the steps but probably easier to watch a utube video. Let me know if you can not figure it out that way and I can help walk you through it.
