Lowrance water temp problem

    I recently purchased a new Lowrance HDS 7 Gen 2 and hooked it up to my new Xi5. Everything is working fine, but my water temp is not reading correctly. It says water temp is 108 when we are really at around 48-50. Anyone have any ideas on a fix for this?

    Make sure all your connections are clean and tight.I had the same problem with an HDS9,temp would read 28F.Cleaned and tightened connectors and good as gold.

    HA – I “fixed” my own problem. I just had to tell it the RIGHT transducer this time – DUH
