Just wondering if any of you guys have this unit? I just bought a brand new one of eBay, and I’ve never had electronics before. I wanted something I could use on the boat and the ice so this seemed like a good deal to me. Any opinions on it?
I had an X67c for years, which is the same thing minus the GPS. I used it for the same purposes, and I really liked it. The downside is that your unit won’t take mapping chips, but other than that, it’s a good unit.
I let mine go when I sold my boat, or I would still use it.
excuse the ignorance…. what are mapping chips? I thought the unit came with gps map already on it? Totally new to the electronics sorry.
No depth contour lines. Strictly GPS position trails and such. I’ve had the 68c for years as both summer and winter use. I really like the bottom zoom in the ice mode(flasher mode).
I even replaced my old one with one found on eBay. We probably bid against each other? Lol😜
Hope you like yours as much as I liked my old one. I’m looking forward to being able to use my new one as it came ‘mint in box’. No ice yet tho.😁 Good luck.
Thanks for the info! The guy I bought it from will not be able to ship it out until today.. Even though I paid for it Monday….. Was really hopeing to play with it this weekend but oh well!
