I just purchased a new Lowrance HDS Live and a new Navionics platinum map chip. I can’t seem to get any color on the map. It is just a white map with black contour lines. I don’t see anything that helps in the manual. Any ideas?
I think deep water is white and very shallow water is light blue, at least on my Navionics mapping.
Have you set the finder to the navionics setting?
I don’t know about newer units, but my elite hds I need to tell it which brand of map chip I put in
I had to register the chip and download stuff
