    I know a LSS-1 will work with a Gen2 but not sure the other way around.

    A Gen2 will say Gen2 on start up. Gen2 gimbals are black. Gen1’s gimbals
    are grey.

    The LOWRANCE label on the front of a Gen1 is black. It’s white on a Gen2.
