Lowrance hds gen 2 touch waypoint management

I was wondering if you can put waypoints in a group by lake or do u have to have them all lumped together? Thks

they are lump together,
there is a setting you can pick that list them the closest to your location..

I rename all of mine. It takes time, but on days before the lakes are open and the boat is sitting in the garage I just sit in there and pull up the lakes and rename each of the waypoints to something that makes sense like “LOW 25′ Rocky Pt Reef”. I start all the names with the same prefix denoting the lake.
This helps if I want to navigate to a specific waypoint to.

Also, not sure if you knew this, but say you go over a piece of structure and you want to mark it, if you scroll back the sonar screen and then tap the screen where a rock, etc is located on the bottom, and then mark a waypoint at that location it will store the depth in that data of that waypoint. Kind of a neat feature I discovered by accident years ago.
