Kevin, for some reason I cannot open your PM but I saw most of what you sent. Yes, it should be able to see engine diagnostics with NMEA2000 but you will also need an interface cable for your outboard. I never used it, but I know its possible. Not sure why I cannot open your PM but I could read part of it at least. I was contemplating getting the Suzuki cable and rigging it up but never pulled the trigger. All HDS units can do this, not sure about the Elite series etc.
I have been talking with iowaboy1 about getting my boat setup to monitor the new Suzuki. This looks like a great option. I will take it. Will send another pm with phone #
