Lowrance fish hunter

I am considering this as I want to cut down on size and weight.
Has anyone tried this out?

i saw some video reviews, sounds like the app has some issues disconnecting sometimes, the sonar unit itself looks very nice and works well but the phone app you have to link it to needs work. its a new technology i would give it another year to mature.. all they need to do is improve the app and i would consider buying it myself.

Just remember how fast your phone battery dies in the cold. I would guess you would want to have an external battery charger if you go with this.

Not worried about phone battery as I have a couple pocket battery for recharging plus a “halo” battery that gives several recharges and fits in shirt pocket.

Thanks for advice as did not hear about app problems. Holding off for now.
