Chris – from my experience, the Endura series works with very few cards. It needs a microSD, so only the last few years of lakemaster lowrance fit into the device. Also, the geniuses at Lowrance never fully implemented Navionics support for the Endura series, so that isn’t an option either.

It allows you to use waypoints, tracking and routes?

When I had my Endura Sierra, the navionics chip only displayed a map and position. It didn’t allow tracking, waypoints or routes. I called them a number of times and they basically apologized and said it wasn’t going to be improved. Cool your unit works better.

    Fishwater,
I believe you are correct, it isn’t full featured integration with the Navionics. I get the map and location and depths. But it allows only a few way points (pin drops) I think its called on there. It does give me the breadcrumb trail but Ive never tried to save it. You can have all the waypoints you want you just need to back out of the Navionics mode. You have to go back and forth.

It is however a great hiking, hunting, geocashe, trail-riding unit.
