Lowrance Elite 7 fs OR Humminbird Helix 7 si

Hi all, I need some advice on the fish finder front. I’m about to purchase my first ever unit and I have it down to the Lowrance Elite 7 fs OR Humminbird Helix 7 si. I’ve never used a sounder before so I’m not really sure what to look for in order of choosing one over the other. No brand affiliation at all because I’ve never used either before.
I have a 3.9 Quintrex Explorer. I’ll mainly be using it in lakes for trout, and in saltwater estuaries/rivers.
Like I said, I’ve never used a sounder before so something user friendly would be great.
Any suggestions in helping choose between these two units would be much appreciated.

Only because you mentioned ease of use. I have to at least say the Garmin is easier to use than either you mentioned in my opinion. I have been having issues with my transducer on mine so not saying there better just easier to use.

I would go garmin over both of those. And it’ll be the most user friendly.
