I have a lowrance TI7 with structure scan transducer. Think it’s dead – any way to confirm?

I believe it got turned on by children in the garage who were playing in the boat. Noticed it on one day boat wasn’t dead. Shut her down and charged the battery. Hasn’t worked for 6 months or so.

Won’t read depth no matter which frequency I use or SI or 2D. Doesn’t click or register when unit is on. Have been using the unit only for maps and waypoints.

Any reason not to cut it at this point? Gonna convert the unit to an ice unit and keep it capable as a map unit on the boat. I can’t easily check the cable without removing multiple panels on the boat but I had that all apart a year ago and don’t suspect that the issue is there.

    Thanks!

Is there a settings menu where you chose transducers? Maybe a setting got turned off?

Thanks for the replies – I did try toggling the transducers on and off manually through the menus so I don’t believe it was that. I also don’t know 100% for sure when it quit working because it interfered with my humminbird so I had been running it with sonar off for some time due to that too.

Fishlectronics seems like it would answer my question except they are not overly close and I would have to unscrew 5 panels on the boat to get at all the wires. I’m probably just going to cut it off at this point.
