We have a Lowrance Elite TI2 and Im looking for general information on local rivers in Florida and Georgia. I have not purchased a card yet. As of now, If I change from Navionics to C-Maps, it shows the St.Marys, Suwannee, and Satilla as a dotted line. I do not care about the contours and depths, but I would like to see myself in water and be able to see slews and canals off the river. Can anyone tell me if the south or southest card can pull up these 3 rivers or what I need to purchase?

Have you tried looking at your area on the Navionics Web App??

Make sure you turn SonarCharts Layer on as well. Lower left corner click on the navionics logo and then choose “SonarCharts” Layer. Then view your area.

Whatever it shows on the web app is what it will look like on your plotter.

I picked up a new hds 9 and decided to go with the navionics. I’ve already got a Lowrance chip and like it but I can make my own maps with navionics. Also, it covers the whole US which is nice for traveling out of state.

This is a big thing for me. Having the ability to create my own maps are key for me in the winter. I map my areas well in the summer. That way I am more efficient in the winter for hard water season. I don’t need to second guess myself on my mapping.
