Is there a way to power on the device without having the power cable. If I can find out the pin-out for power could I just hook up the positive and negative to the pins from a 12 volt battery. I bought item at an auction and i don’t want to buy the extra parts if it dosent work.

Putting power into the correct pins with a needle should allow the unit to start up.

So on pin 7 and 8 should be all i need to power it on?
