With opener not to far off I was curious to see what everyone’s favorite early season tacit is. Personally I have had luck early on fishing by the community swing bridge area just south of Stillwater working current seams. I also have had some success pitching rip rap shoreline south of Hudson. What other areas and presentations do you prefer.

No one on here fishes the St. Croix, hard to believe.

I prefer to use crawlers early season on the Croix.

Minnow and a split shot for me when I’m not trolling blue raps with a three way.

Hope to see you the 28th at the St Croix Get Together!

Pulling shad raps on lead core is lethal this time of year.

Leeches and crawlers on a split shot rig works well. Not a huge walleye fisherman but I manage a few early season
