I see the river is at 681 feet at Stillwater. At this level are there any beaches to pull up to hang out on either at Hudson or by the Kinni? Or are they still submerged at this level? I’m trying to decide where to go for a pleasure ride and a beach stop. I know the No Wake restriction is lifted when the water drops below 683.

Several beaches are above water now
Yes, there are islands in the Hudson Channel that are above water now. They aren’t nearly as big as when the water goes down. Same with Kinni channel. Would guess they will be more crowded with not as much beach though.
Thanks for the information. I’ll have to remember those beaches are above water when it’s 681 at Stillwater. I put the jet ski in at Wind Mill in Afton on Thursday for my daughter and she cruised up to one of the Hudson islands and swam for a bit and hung out on the beach.
She needs to practice backing up the jet ski trailer so she doesn’t need me to when she wants to take the jet ski out.
