Lower Croix

Decided to stay in my “home” waters today instead of Bayport. Launched out of the Bluffs and hit Prescott. Ended up with 5 saugers for my buddy’s table and had a great day on the water. I WILL get up to Bayport soon!

Was great chatting with the 2 guys that left the launch when wr did (in my Tracker, I believe they had a Lowe) and we got back to pull out at the same time- they hit some walleyes up by Kinni and we hit the southern saugers…. anyways, decent dudes in that boat and I’d love to hook up and trade spots again if they’re on the forum.

Took my Co-worker and his son out Friday morning. Picked them up in afton at windmill marina. They sat on the dock for literally only 5-10 min but in that amount of time a stranger offered to take them fishing. Didn’t get a chance to talk to the guy but he was in a newer white black and red Larsen. I thought that was super cool! It was a nice day and we kept the young fella busy with the standard st. Croix mix. Kept 3 walleyes, 2 saugers and a couple perch for the table.
