We will be making a trip looking for pike starting the middle of next week. Our primary target will be the pike, but I’m wondering if eyes will be an option as well, and will the two be in any proximity?
Recommendations for resorts/shops catering to pike fisherman to contact for up to date info?

A little Report for ‘ya:
This weekend was SLOW! My buddy, his daughter, my son and myself fished sun up to sun down Friday to noon Sunday out of Zippel Bay. Caught 3 fish. Had 8-10 legit flags. Don’t let the kids being with fool you. Those two kids catch more fish in a year than a lot of adults on here do. We fished hard, set alarms on our phone and moved every 2 1/2 hrs if no action. We tried every where between 22’ to 2’ under the ice for depths, and everywhere in between. We used live suckers, smelt, live frogs, and hot dogs, to no avail. There were probably 10 or so groups we seen pike fishing, and probably talked to most of them. They were like us, getting a few but not much. A couple nice ones were caught including my buddies 8 y.o. Daughters PB. I have about 2 1/2 dozen live suckers you can have free if you come get them. They are charging $3.25 apiece up there. Put your extension on your auger you will need it. Sounds like Zippel is closing to truck traffic this week some time. I don’t know about the other resorts. There’s plenty of ice, just access’s are getting sketchy. Good luck, hope to see some pictures of some gators. I’d bet the farm they will turn on this week or next.
