What with this wonderful weather [cough, cough] that we’ve had for the last week, I thought the fish might be on hold for a day or two but by looking into deeper water and fishing deeper than normal [6 feet down instead of 2 1/2″ -3′] I found about 30 willing players in an hour this morning. Early. By 7:45 the bite slipped away to an occasional fish about every 20 minutes. Purple/chartreuse tail plastic, 1 1/2″ long. Stinger type today, paddletails took second best.
