LOTW Ice Fishing – Morson, Ontario – Bait

    We’re heading up to LOTW Morson, Ontario area next week for a few days. Our outfitter will supply minnows but we don’t know about waxies or spikes.
    Is it legal to bring waxies and spikes across the border into Ontario? If not, is there a bait shop between Baudette and Morson to get bait? We know crawlers and minnows are a no go at the border.
    TIA for any info.

    Not sure if you can cross with any bait now but there are no waxies on this side of the border. Been using frozen minnows and plastic all year for walleye and crappie.

    There is a bait shop at Piet North which is right by Morson. Not sure about winter hours though.
