    Fished southern MN for about 9 hours yesterday. Lots of Eye’s under 10″ and a couple in the 14-16″. Very eager to bite! Smoked a VMC Tumbler Pink UV all day. Glad I have a few!

    I bet I caught 300 bluegills this weekend, trouble was, I only kept 9 between the 2 days (Which is all I really wanted, but even had I wanted to keep more I wouldn’t have been able to). Just fished where I knew it was safe and had a lot of fun shaking the rust off out there on the ice. Nice little deep freeze coming giving us more options for the weekend to come!

    We may get on some ponds down here at the end of the week and after the low temps Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday night. Getting real close

    Busted out up here. Lots of fish on the Vexilar, but very tight lipped. Oh well, gave the son and I time to enjoy the day.

    I got into some small crappies in the metro. Really light biters but it was fun to get out!

    consistent clear 3″ (under the snow). I checked a few other lakes and most were closer to 2″

    Finally got out in Southern Ontario today. Fishing was pretty terrible. Couldn’t move around much with ice conditions. Managed a few small bluegill and got smashed by this “little” guy. Was a bit of a battle with a noodle and 2 lb ice magic lol.

    Went out today and did Good for myself. Four eyes and some decent perch. 4 1/2″ of good ice. Going back out for a bit tomorrow.
