Folks, my tailgate bumped open and I lost my buddy’s Strikemaster electric auger on the Croix this evening about 6:30 PM. If by any chance an honest person picked it up and is waiting for this message, please get in touch!

I really hope you get it back. I put my name and phone number on most of my stuff. auger, drill, flasher, tackle bag, rod box, heater ect.. It makes it easier for an honest person to return it.

More specific info – was fishing down by the Willow River dam and drove back up the ice to Bayport and then back to Afton.

I would look at the MN Sturgeon and Catfish group on FB. They’re very active on there with a bunch of members out there sturgeon fishing. They all seem like very personable guys that I’m sure they’d be willing to find the owner of the auger if they found it.

I would post on the Facebook Fishing Minnesota group page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1541571389430797) or possibly the Trick you Trap group page. Both get quite a bit of FB traffic.
I took a screenshot and have posted for him in the Sturgeon/Catfish group.
Maybe the mods can move this to the general discussion forum for more exposure too. Thanks Blank and bzzsaw, and Lost for chiming in. Hoping for a good outcome.
