Lost my favorite hat

Ever had a hat that cost MAYBE all of $10 to $15 bucks…sweaty, fraying, faded…you get the picture.

Then, last evening at dark I cranked up the outboard after a great time catching sunfish with friends, there goes the hat. Into the black depths of the river. Never to be seen again.

What will I wear for fish pics? My confidence badge…the lucky hat…my sweaty friend.

A piece of my armor is gone…

Anybody lose one such as I?

Everts has the IDO hats in stock… it can become your buddy too with time.

But to answer your question, normally my hats become too small before I can lose them. )

That’s basically what it takes for me to switch to a new hat. I either lose it or it falls apart to the point where it is no longer wearable. Only then does my trusty lid get replaced with a new one.

I too have lost a lucky hat. Many of them.
But fear not-The replacements will weather and conform and mine have all been lucky too! At least for catching fish.

Sadly, it was my Everts hat. Hope I can find one somewhere…
