    I think he was #15 with the Wild. He had a ton of chances in this series and didn’t capitalize. That is a typical MN Wild forward issue, he certainly would fit right in here.
    Not his fault Vegas lost, they had a ton of other chances and held the lead just kept taking stupid penalties. I almost think that one penalty could have been a penalty shot. Really close.

    Vegas (the odds makers) give Tampa the best odds of winning the cup next year. Probably because they are pretty much going to stay in tact, shouldn’t be any major turnover with the roster and the young guys like Point are only going to get better.

    I love the Cup “keg stand”, the splashing around in the fountain and Georgetown.
    Him in bed with the Cup. Man, he is living it up.
    This morning I saw he was lighting up the charcoal grill singing “We are the Champions” with the Cup next to him.

    Its the best. The Stanley Cup playoffs are the best playoffs and its not even close.

    The NHL should be all over this. I don’t think there is a better story and Ovie has a ton of charisma. I hope there is a film crew documenting all of this.

    I’ve been watching the show all weekend. As much as it pains me to say, Ovie deserved it and he’s fully embracing the win. Watching the bender/party those guys are having is amazing. It almost makes my college years look like a daycare…

    I hope so too! I didn’t really care much for him previously. Didn’t hate or love him, but after seeing what this means to him, I love the guy!
    He played his guts out and deserves it! He has taken a lot of flak over the years, but he turned it around.
    In other news ESPN has started re-airing some old commercials with Ovie in it since the win. The one about spies is pretty funny.
