Loomis NRX 852 vs 872 JWR for Jig Pitching

    I currently got an 802 JWR NRX and I was looking to pair it up with a longer rod for throwing jigs. Primarily used on mid to large rivers, throwing 3/16th- 1/2 ounce jigs. Anyone who has either, or both, please opine. I also was looking at the 822,and was wondering if the DSR or SYR was better for throwing jigs, if either bests the 852 or 872. Thanks!

    I have used a IMX SJR 721 for 25 years for 5/16 and lighter jigs, never seen much of a need to go longer
