I did my 2002 Pro V this spring and it is a big job. Not necessarily difficult, just very time intensive. The Pro Vs and Tyees have so many storage compartments and rod lockers, it really adds to the effort. I think I put a good 60 hours into mine. If you’re on Facebook, there is a group called Lund Boat Restoration. It has a ton of useful information, I really leaned on it for my job. I avoided a few troublesome situations based on peoples experience doing the same job.
A couple tips I’d provide, purchase good marine plywood. You’re going to spend a lot on it, probably $80-90 per 4×8 sheet but don’t be tempted to buy anything cheaper. Same goes for the flooring. Whether you buy carpet or vinyl, get the good stuff. It’s so much work to do it, it’s not worth skimping on materials.
Good luck, it’s a lot of work, but the end result is worth it.
