I just bought a 2017 ram 5.7 hemi any one have any expertise or input on a muffler to put on it.
I’m looking for a deeper rumble when I get on it and not to hear it screaming at 75, so I can still talk on the trucks Bluetooth. I watched a lot of videos on you tube but it’s hard to really tell over my phone. Muffler delete while keeping my resonators is a option I was looking in to as well. I just ordered a tuner and bigger intake for it as well

Just go with the GMC Denali muffler. Never been a big sound muffler dude, but mine sounds pretty much what you describe

Just make sure the exhaust isn’t large enough for someone to randomly get a body part stuck in it.

If some one got their hear stuck in my muffler I’d pay them 10 bucks. But no random drunk people near my truck that often. So I shouldn’t have to worry

Check out the Flowmaster Outlaw. Bolt on muffler. Took me 20 minutes to install and I love the sound. There are lots of videos of it online. I have the exact same truck.

But I’m just guessing as I’m from Iowa. rotflol

X2 on the Flowmaster mufflers, awesome sound quality, easy to install and built to last two days beyond forever,at least that has been my experience with them in the past.

Check out Black Widow mufflers. My son put one on his 03 Suburban. Sounds nice. Good rumble down low quite at highway speeds.
They hooked him up when he told them he was replacing the muffler for a high school mechanics class project

People post muffler sounds on you tube, if you google the muffler you are looking at. I used a Flowmaster 22″ on my F-150 and was happy with it. The 18″ would have been to loud.

Did you just put on the muffler or the pipes too? I’m looking to get exhaust soon too. The Borla system from GM runs about 1500 installed at the dealer.

Personally I’d pass on the flowmaster and look for something else. I know in ls1 applications the flowmaster actually cuts flow and causes a reduction is horsepower.

I put in just a bolt on muffler and took my resonators out. It breaths awesome now and sounds great. I’m gonna also add a bigger k and n intake so she really can breath. I’m happy with the muffler it’s aggressive with no drone and quiet at highway speeds

Flowmaster on a 2012 F150….got the quieter one, still plenty of rumble, but can still listen to the radio.

Sorry, I just saw the “Where are you located ” question. I am in Red Wing, MN. I would be happy to let you hear it. Absolutely no reduction of power as mentioned.
