    Looking to put a spot lock motor on my 1950 lund tyee any recommendations on thrust and shafts size for this boat.

    112 lbs. thrust, 72 inch shaft Ulterra would be my choice for your boat

    Bigger is always better. My wife tries to tell me otherwise but I don’t believe her.

    Kind of a bummer only being able to put the shaft half way in though, why over do it?

    Seems like everyone likes the mini but I love my Motor Guide Xi, the 72″ shaft is one I’d get for your boat. To pay all that money to deploy is just crazy.

    Thats why you order terrova. I’ve had the xi5 And minnkota. There isn’t even a comparison. Minnkota all the way
