looking to get a new rod for brookies and lake trout what would you recommend

    what would be the best all around rod for brookies and some smaller lakers i fish alot in northern ontario and am looking to upgrade to nicer rod. i sometimes troll small spiners and crank baits. i also do a lot of casting with bigger little cleos. what rod would hold up the best

    How big are the Brookies or Speckles you are targeting?? If they are the size in my avatar I use a 7′ St Croix Legend Elite Med Light (4 to 10 lb test) and it works perfect. I wouldn’t not use an ultra light.
