Looking for reliable SUV to pull 21ft bass boat

    Looking for a decent reliable SUV. The Tranny in My 2001 Ford Expedition is starting to slip. 192,990 miles. I suppose it is time to upgrade.

    Drain out some fluid and throw in Lucas tranny fix. Worth $12 to try, and nothing else make er work good for the sale. Maybe 2 bottles.

    I’m not sure what you are looking for as far as price range, age, miles, etc., but I’ve got a 2003 Chevy Suburban 4×4 that is going to be going on the market in the next couple months it’s my hunting vehicle now that used to be my daily driver. It has about 129K miles I believe. Body is rough (typical rust in the typical places) but it is mechanically sound. It would make a cheap reliable tow vehicle. PM me if it sounds like something you’d be interested in.

    NHAMM, What kind of person are you ? Suggesting to Sell a truck to someone with a bad tranny . I think they should throw you off this site even for suggesting this scumbag behavior.

    Serious? Lay off the pipe dude.

    My tranny started slipping slightly as well, 2 bottles later she’s purring nicely. There are many other stories out there of the same results. Science does advance over the years.

    I didnt see that NHamm suggested selling a broken truck. Just a suggestion on fixing tranny. Geesh. I usually dont post about squabbling but that was jumping to conclusions and nasty.

    P.S. Ive never met nhamm so dont think Im sticking up with prejudice. Just common decency.
