Looking for pics of your MX1825 dashboard with a Humminbird 99x or 119x

Skeeter owners,

I’m trying to decide on either a Humminbird 999si or 1199si, Everybody I’ve talked to said spend the extra $$ for the larger screen, but I’m most concerned about the amount of dash space the 1199 takes up (I really don’t want a flat screen TV taking up my entire dash)

Can those with the 99x and/or 119x installed on your MX1825 dash please post or send me a picture from behind the driver seat perspective? I would love to be able to do a side by side comparison of a 99x vs a 119x installed dashboard.

The Mille Lacs trolling show that James did with Will shows a 1198 Hummingbird on his MX2025. Ch eck out the video, it might give you a good idea of what your looking for.

Just Kidding. Just watched the video once again to make sure. He isn’t in his MX.

Here is a photo of a MX 1825 currently being rigged with 2 birds on the dash. 999 on ram swing arm and 859 on ram ball mount

check out this video of James fishing in an 1825. I am pretty sure it has a 11xx on the dash behind a full windshield.

I *was* all set to go with a Humminbird 9 series, but after reading about all the customer service problems they’ve been having with the software updates (losing 800hz setting, glitches galore) and lack of listening to their customers input (ability to remove/transpose the data boxes on “all” screens that take up 1/4 of the screen size display) I’m going to wait and see what bird/lowrance releases this next spring…

I’ve made quite a few mods to my MX1825, I’ll post pics once everything is done (most likely this winter)
