I am thinking about hitting the river for catfish this weekend. I usually go out of Red wing. But I hate mayflies and have seen some reports of huge hatches. Any thoughts on what I might run into? I know this is hard to predict but I just don’t want to spend an evening swatting them away and then later picking them out of the boat carpet. I appreciate any input.
