Looking for Makrolon

I want to fab up a windshield for my hovercraft.
Research says Makrolon is a good product for this…

I’m looking for a piece 2-1/2’x 4-1/2′
I have not seen it in 3/16″ thick so 1/8″ or 1/4″ …

If anyone knows of this or better ideas I’m all ears !!

I know a few guys that went through UPD Plastics and were very pleased with their Plexiglas shields. You may want to just get an alternate quote to compare

Polycarbonate(Lexan) would be far better than plexiglass. Makrolon is merely a brand name(manufacturer) of polycarbonate panels.

Check out McMaster Carr. I know they sell polycarbonate sheet in various sizes as I get it from them when I need it quickly for fabrication at work.

Not sure if you have Theisens farm stores up that way but that’s where I bought a big sheet of lexan to build a windshield for my ranger. Wanna say it was just under a $100.
