FW got me this as a Fathers Day gift. I am looking for someone to install it. I would try it myself but am afraid I may screw it up. Any recommendations? I live in the North Metro. Thanks in advance.

What are you installing it on? I just put 2 93sv units on my tiller and a 73 on my bow. Was super easy. A little time consuming but not to hard at all

One thing I would do is get the Transducer mounting plate, the white plastic plate you see on most newer boats. This eliminates unnecessary holes in the hull if you have to move the transducer or add one.

Funny I was just watching a you tube on the transom saver, Good advice. I am putting it on a 16″ Lund aluminum boat. Is it ok to run the electronics off of the same battery I use for the trolling motor?

Best to run off of starting battery. Not trolling motor batteries, can cause interference.
