I am looking for help to identify an older boat lift. It does not have a manufactures name plate on it so i do not know who the manufacturer was or what the capacity is. I want to replace the cables on it however it would be great if i knew who built it.

I am hoping someone on this forum may have some information that would help.

    Regards,
    Tom

It looks pretty close to the Shore Station my in-laws had. The pads are a bit different, but that could have changed year to year.

Thank you. I will reach out to them to see if they recognize it.

Couldn’t you just remove and cables and take them in to a hardware store or whatever and get new ones cut to length and with whatever end you might need to secure them?

Couldn’t you just buy the same thickness of cables from the hardware store and not buy them through the lift manufacturer? That is what I did when I changed the cables on my ShoreMaster lift. They just need to be similar lengths.

Looks like a Hewitt lift based on the under support bracing of the lifting cross bars…probably a 3,000-3,600 lb lift…
