Interesting read as I never gave it much thought. Just assumed my Military D-Ring Belt was God’s gift to me. Towed ATVs, drug deer, strapped elk hind quarter to sled/atv, bound branches to gether to retreave ducks, dog leash, pulled a guy out of the ice, field use shoulder strap, and so on. My uses are endless as I think about the last 30+ years

I have been very happy with belts from YourTack. They are a maker of saddles and other tack. Use excellent leather and it is all full grain.

You can find them on Amazon.

Carhardt has some great leather belts. I get mine at Blain’s Farm and Fleet.

My $30-35 Carhartt belts work good and last years.

I’ve got two of them, they’ve got to be over 20 years old. One is for work and the other I wear hunting, fishing and with jeans around the house.
