    Here’s a MASSIVE 82” Sturgeon I helped sample from the Wolf River. It was full of eggs with a likely 35-40” girth. Every year, the UWSP chapter of the American Fisheries Society helps the WI DNR PIT tag and record recaptures of spawning Sturgeon at the Wolf.

    I’m sure this one remembers the logging days…

    Looks like your enjoying it, I’ll bet that fish was really something to see!!!

    Now Charlie… I’ve seen the dnr handle enough big fish to know they are always unprepared to handle big fish… where’s the BIG fish net bud?!?
