Just got off the lake. Brrrr!

Last night we scouted a few spots, and tonight we filmed our findings on a long overdue Leech Lake show.

We’ve been talking about doing a night time walleye show for awhile now and tonight we put it on tape. It’ll air this Sunday, and we think you’ll enjoy it!

Nice Work fellas, Always fun at times to be the last one or the only ones out on the lake. I know me and Dad ground out alot of bites and sometimes even started after dark depending on Dad’s busy schedule. Its the unique experiences that a guy always remembers. – QB

Filming in the dark is always a challenge but I think we pulled it off without making every shot look like a talking head floating in inky darkness. The camera guys get another slap on the back again this week for carting lights from hole to hole as Joel and I tried to get fish on the ice. That might not sound like that big of a deal but the battery for our main light set weighs 100# and Joel and I never sit still. I’m willing to bet I’m going to hear about some sore arms and shoulders this morning once I kick everyone out of bed. smash

Can’t wait to see how it turned out… And now that you’ve got it dialed in we may just have to do a nighttime crappie show as well.

Does water clarity and or staining play a role in how effective a night bite is? Some of my most familiar waters are stained, and I don’t want to waste my time. If needing to travel to more clearer waters is necessary, then that is what I’ll do, thanks.

And add another eelpout show as well!
I love night fishing as I won’t need to wake up early once or twice a week and then having to fight my body to get back to normal.

Is it weird that I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning, everytime I get to sit down and watch the new episodes?

Joel couldn’t help but notice the lx5 in use cool to see that! Seems like it’s always the newest products out that make tv cool
