My Christmas Eve turned into crap. It’s the 4th tragic event around Christmas for me. I dread this holiday for this reason. Last nite my 22 year old grandson died.

I truly apologize for spilling my gutz here but a guy shouldn’t have to bury a child much less a grandson.

If nothing else, hopefully it helped to get it out and express it in some way. Real sorry to hear that sir. The holiday timeframe carries some bad memories for a lot of people for various reasons.

Thoughts and prayers for you and your family, sir.

So sorry for your loss. My grandfather stated the same thing. He buried 3 of his kids and his wife of 50 yrs only at 66 2 weeks after Christmas. He struggled with the loss but held to the hope of seeing them again in eternity.

So very sorry Glenn. A little water got stuck in my eye thinking a family has to go through something like that.

Sorry for your loss Glenn. If there’s anything you may need, I know we are mostly all strangers, but there are some very kind people here. You are among friends.

Can’t imagine, thoughts and prayers. Everyone goes through tragedy differently, a common thread seems to be trying to focus on some positive thread of keeping their memory alive. No matter how small it may seem, honoring them let’s you know they are not forgotten and that they were loved. God bless.

I’m so sorry to hear of your grandson’s passing. Death is often untimely, unfair, and leaves us with a sadness that sometimes feels like it can never be comforted. Even in your sadness, please hold on to the thought that a life lived with so much love never really ends, but goes on forever in the hearts of those who remember. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Glenn, there are probably no words that can be said that will bring you much comfort or understanding right now.
Thank you for sharing this though as it is a reminder for all of us how fragile life is and how it can change so painfully at any moment.

Prayers for you and grieving family anyway.
