Anyone here have any pointers for finding lakers in the spring? I fish the same lake every year and have found intermittent success with lake trout. This lake in NW Ontario is very diverse. It has a larger river running through it, it has a 5-6 100+ foot holes, 3-5 large rock reefs, and a few islands. Does a guy start near the large underwater reefs? The deep open water? Near the inflow of the river? The outflow of the river? Sand flats? We catch them near the 100+ fow in the summer. Should I start there? Any input would be helpful. Thanks!
